What is TagMe?

TagMe is an application to collect data on identified climatic and environmental concern to support digital advocacy.

Kindly go through the following steps to download and use the app.

Download TagMe app from Playstore.
Signup either by completing the form or via your Gmail/Facebook account.
If you have a referral code, do enter the code.
Once signed in, you will need to verify the account by entering OTP that will be sent to your email.
Before starting data collection and taking part in the cleanup campaign, do complete your profile.
Once you have verified the account and completed the profile, you are now ready to collect data via TagMe.

What are the things to consider while submitting waste data?

Take picture of the waste standing in front of it so that you are able to capture accurate location.
While reporting the data of waste, do report the waste that are piled up in one place. (Infograph to denote what what waste to capture)
Indicate what waste material are deposited i.e. plastic bags, plastic bottles, metals, cloths and so on.
Report the estimated weight of the waste.
Once you complete the form, you can save the form offline and submit it when you have data or internet.

Can multiple people report the waste of same location?

If multiple people are submitting the data of same location around the same timeframe, only one data will be visualized in the web-portal. However, if multiple people are submitting the data of same location in different days, one data will be visualized with multiple dates in detail in the web-portal.

Can I collect waste data of anywhere in Nepal?

You can use TagMe to collect data of any location in Nepal. However, under Nepali Yuwa in Climate Action and Green Growth project, the outreach event to sensitize about Data-driven Advocacy (digital advocacy) will be organized in Madhesh Province focusing on Janakpurdham.

How will the data that I collected will be used?

The data collected on waste will be used as evidence to communicate the extend of issues at the selected location. The location of data, its pictures, and other details will be displayed in the visualization portal that will be openly accessible.

I submitted the data on waste. Will it be cleaned?

The collected data will be visualized in Map to show were the waste have been disposed to encourage users to take initiative to clean. However, reporting data will not indicate that it will be cleaned instantly.

What can I do after reporting the waste data?

After reporting the waste data, you can either continue collection data or clean the waste and initiate the cleanup campaign.

Every data you collect and every waste you clean will help you earn coins to unlock exciting gifts and vouchers.

How do I earn coins?

You can earn coins from:

Collecting data
Cleaning up the reported data
Sharing the app with your friend network and encouraging them to collect data

How can I redeem coins?

To redeem coins, select the exciting gifts/vouchers that you want to redeem. The coins needed to redeem is displayed in the top right of the gift/voucher. Once you have enough coins to redeem, you will get a message that team will contact you for the delivery of the gifts/vouchers. If you are redeeming Topup or cash via eSewa, you will directly redeem via your device.

Do I get cash in hand?

Not directly cash in hand but you will be able to redeem eSewa vouchers when you have enough coins.

When can I redeem the coins?

You will be able to redeem exciting gifts/vouchers anytime you have enough coins to redeem them.

How will the redeemed gifts delivere to me?

To deliver the gifts/vouchers to your location, our team will contact you and deliver them to the shared location.

Can I share the app with my friends?

Yes, you can share the app with your friends. In the home page and in the profile section, you will find the Botton to share the app with your friends via your device. Your friends will receive the link to the app and will be able to download it.
